Dear Profs.:

I'm the editor-in-chief of the Kyiv Post, the English-language newspaper
here in Ukraine, and was wondering if you could help me with a staffing
issue. We're going to need a new business editor in early January, and an
ideal candidate would be a recent college graduate with either Ukrainian or
Russian language skills, who's an excellent writer and who's interested in
this part of the world for either family or other reasons. Knowledge of the
business scene here would help, but it's not crucial --- that's the sort of
information that can be picked up on the job.

Would it be possible for you to circulate news of this job opportunity in
your department, or mention it to undergrads who might be interested? Or at
least post the news?  I
could certainly send more information both about the Post and about the job
if you'd like.
